This 8 degree V-Hull has both side and bottom structural ribs for reinforcement. The bottom ribs are 2" x 2" x 1/8" tubing, and the side ribs are made from 2" x 4" x 1/8" tubing precisely cut and form fit pieces. All are on 12" centers. Five longitudinals of 3/8"x2" flat run the full length of the boat. Standard construction also includes 3/16" thick marine aluminum bottoms and 1/8" thick marine aluminum sides. Since we custom make each boat, other thicknesses are always available for specialized applications
This flat bottom, flat bow boat also has the side and bottom structural ribs for reinforcement. The bottom ribs are 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1/8" tubing, again on 12" centers. The side ribs are 1 3/4" x 4" x 1/8" tubing precisely angle cut. All ribs are welded in place for superior strength. The sub hull is then welded in place over these bottom ribs.
