This work barge is thirty six feet long and fourteen feet wide. It was designed specifically to float a Cat D-9 bulldozer safely from island to island in Wisconson for a construction company. We also created a special purpose boat with which to move the barge and its load.
This is our model 2484 Dual-Hull Landing Craft. It is twenty four feet long and seven feet wide. Twin 115HP Evinrude engines are fed from dual 50 gallon fuel tanks. It has an electric bow winch and is land transportable on its custom made tandem axle heavy duty trailer.
This is our model 3000CP. It is 30 feet long, and has custom made dual V pontoons. The engine mount is custom made and designed to slip through the water with minimum disturbance. We have both the V design as well as the octagonal design shown below.
This boat was designed to move 5000 pound anchors that hold floating portable campsites in place for the State of California. It has a hoist rated at three tons built onto its superstructure. The raised pilot house is mounted centrally for maximum visibility of the craft's immediate surroundings.
